Spring Edit | 5 Must-Have Fashions for Atlanta Senior Photos

Spring is my favorite season- it’s getting warm, flowers are starting to bloom, it’s like a new beginning. And it’s also a transitional season in metro Atlanta, which is perfect for mixing pieces from your warm weather and cold weather wardrobe.

There are a few trends I am loving that are perfect Spring fashion for senior sessions and can be used with pieces you already own to make them perfect for your individual style.

THE MOTO JACKET

This one has been around for little while, but I feel like it gets forgotten when deciding on outfits for styled sessions. It’s perfect because it pairs with so many staple pieces- dresses, skinny jeans, skirts…it adds a layer of texture and can be a great posing piece for hands. It can also give you two looks in one- it can add a grungy look to a feminine dress making it act as a whole other outfit.

This pattern is super hot right now. It can have a retro, girly vibe or a modern rocker one depending on what you pair it with. It comes in a few different colors but I love black. It updates the pattern and makes it less “country” style.

The 90’s are back! I used to wear these all the time when I was a kid and now, you can wear them for your senior pics! There are so many styles and colors to choose from- from basic denim to black velvet, there’s a pair for everyone. And they are super versatile- you can dress them up, make them look preppy, or go classic grunge.

It’s no secret booties are a staple in most girls’ closet, but I’m loving the addition of the peep-toe style. They look super polished and go with so many looks- shorts, skirts, jeans… and for Spring, they are the perfect transitional piece to show off that fresh pedicure!

BUTTON-DOWN SKIRT

Another great piece that can be worn so many different ways. Depending on your style, you can wear it as your dressier outfit, or pair it with a graphic tee for a more modern skater look. I love that you can wear them with a winter sweater, but still show off your Spring Break legs.
