When most people talk about back to school fashion, they picture kids in polished button-downs, freshly ironed pans, and sparkling new sneakers. But when you are a high school senior, back to school means one thing- early mornings. If you are anything like the seniors I know, you throw on what is comfortable and easy to wear. My Model Squad decided to show off some of their favorite no-fuss looks that still look cute and stylish.
A super easy outfit to pull together is a simple tee with soft, jersey shorts. And with overalls coming back into style, why not pair them with a cotton baseball tee for a fun, sporty look.
Mixing a simple patterned top with colored bottoms easily transition from sleep time to 1st period.
And remember, white tops go with just about anything. They can be your wardrobe’s best friend.
Another comfy, yet stylish staple is the cardigan. We all know classrooms can get chilly, so add a layer of color and texture to a graphic tee and jean shorts. I suggest having at least one color and one neutral cardi so you can throw one on any morning.
Isn’t the invention of leggings the greatest in the last thirty years? They are so soft and stretchy and can be worn casual or dressed up a bit just by changing up the top you pair them with. On lazy mornings, grab a cotton tee or oversized sweater and you’re out the door.
Remember- your style is what you make it and who says comfortable can’t be stylish? Save the fancy stuff for another day- senior school days are for lounge pants and ponytails. Add a few swipes of black mascara and pink lipgloss and you’re ready to go!
