My favorite time for senior photos is Fall. As a senior photographer in Atlanta, my Fall season can sometimes go until early December. I just love the amazing light we get right around dusk and the gorgeous portraits it creates for my clients. Kelli was a 2017 Model Rep and chose the warmth and coziness of a Fall session and her wardrobe did not disappoint!
A simple outfit is made interesting with a pop of color from a chunky red scarf. Perfect against the green backdrop of the trees.
You might not think of sage as a Fall color, but I love how the muted tones keep the focus on her face (and that gorgeous berry lip) and compliment the slight smoky eye effect.
My favorite thing about being a senior photographer is the unique styles I get to see with each new teen. Kelli paired a striped top with these fun corduroy overalls and even added a hat for more whimsy. We had so much fun playing around with poses and movement in this outfit, ranging from serious to silly.
This final look is one of my favorites ever- a knit turtleneck sweater and a gorgeous plum skirt? Yes please! The pair was simply perfect for photographing, especially in this golden light. We thought she looked like a Disney princess in this set and they were easily some of mom and dad’s favorites from the session.
Love the idea of a senior photo session at Alexander Park? I’d love to chat!
