For this Brookwood High School senior, I decided that Historic Downtown Buford would be perfect for her senior portrait session. She wanted a more urban backdrop but with a little bit of rustic flair- exactly what Buford provides!
She started off her session with muted tones and neutrals for her outfits. This works well since the beginning of most session are more relaxed while the senior gets used to posing and getting comfortable in front of the camera. A country girl at heart, Gretchen had to have an outfit with her cowboy boots!
Next, she opted for a simple little black dress which was stunning with her blond hair-
For the second half of her senior session, we boosted the color story with this sweet off-the-shoulder pink top. And look, the cowboy boots make another appearance! This sidewalk in downtown Buford was the perfect backdrop for rich green against a bold pop of color.
Gretchen’s final look was this bright and colorful mini dress- a great look just as the sun was setting. We captured some beautiful backlit images to play off the hues of the dress.
